Tim joined the firm as chief accountant in 1987 and in 1996 was appointed finance director and a member of the firm's management board. He has a thorough understanding of all financial matters relating to the firm and has participated completely in the growth of the firm through the development of our teams of lawyers and merger with several general and niche practices. He was instrumental in the selection and successful implementation of the firm's practice management system, Elite and has been a key team member in guiding the firm through its conversion to LLP and its strategic review.
Tim has overall responsibility for all financial matters but his primary role is to work with the partners on implementing the firm's strategic plan including, in particular, performance management and cost control. Tim is a mathematics graduate from Imperial College, London and trained with Haines Watts and Spicer and Pegler.
