Stuart is an associate in the firm’s family team. After reading history at the University of Warwick, he worked for a number of years as operations manager of a retail chain in Oxford. He retrained as a lawyer from 2007, passing both the GDL and the LPC with distinctions. He trained as a lawyer with the firm specialising in family law and qualified as a solicitor in April 2012.
He has experience in all aspects of private family law work, in particular advising clients on divorce and on the financial issues stemming from relationship breakdown. As well as in advising on financial matters in both married and unmarried cases, Stuart has broad experience in disputes regarding children.
Between his academic and his professional training Stuart worked as a paralegal in Barlow Lyde & Gilbert's professional indemnity claims team.
