After reading law at the London School of Economics, Sabrina trained to be a barrister and was called to the Bar in 2009. She cross-qualified as a solicitor at an Exeter firm where she worked in the property litigation team for two years before joining Penningtons Manches LLP in September 2012. Sabrina is a member of the Property Litigation Association.
She regularly deals with commercial landlord and tenant disputes and management issues including claims for possession, forfeiture, dilapidations claims, lease renewals, rent review and service charge liability. She advises landlords and tenants on their rights and liabilities in insolvency situations, including claims against former tenants and guarantors and disclaimer of leases. She also provides guidance on a wide range of property disputes, including misrepresentation, nuisance, boundary disputes, encroachment, enforcing restrictive covenants, easements, Trusts of Land (TLATA) and claims to title by adverse possession.
Sabrina has been recognised as an ‘associate to watch’ in both the 2015 and 2016 issues of Chambers UK and as an up-and-coming star' in the 2016 issue of The Legal 500. She is described as ‘an expert in her subject’ who has the ‘ability to recall even minute details of the case’ and also praised for her ‘pleasant, reassuring and meticulous’ approach.
