The Banking and Finance Group handles a wide range of banking and finance transactions both domestic and international.

The Transactional Team has extensive experience in dealing with various types of secured and unsecured credit facilities (whether bilateral or syndicated), development and property finance, project finance, asset finance, receivables financing, trade finance and other structured finance transactions and complex intercreditor and security sharing arrangements. The team also handles a variety of factoring transactions.

Other teams within the Group deal with regulatory matters, act for clients in the setting up and expansion of several overseas banks in the UK, which gives considerable insight as to the requirements and concerns of lenders.

In addition, Penningtons advises on complex restructuring and insolvency matters and has considerable experience in acting for banks and other lenders in relation to dispute resolution.
