Linda heads the firm’s housing team. She joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 1999 and became a partner in 2005. Linda is an account manager for a number of leading registered providers and specialises in advising them on acquisitions, disposals, associated planning agreements, together with all home ownership sales, individual purchases, staircasing and resales, outright sales, and lease extensions. Linda also advises on Right to Buy, Right to Acquire and Right to Shared Ownership.

Recognised as a ‘Leader in the Field’ by Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession and The Legal 500, Linda is described as: “always available at the end of the phone” with one source adding: “She has always delivered above expectations and can find a solution for any situation”. Linda is also recognised as a ‘Best Lawyer in the UK for Social Housing’ on the Best Lawyers website.

Linda is a member of Women in Social Housing, Social Housing Law Association and the Chartered Institute of Housing.
