Profile

Julia has over 25 years’ experience in the private client field and her specialisms are probate applications and administration of estates including the preparation of estate accounts and taxation, resealing foreign grants and making applications for grants on behalf of non-UK domiciled deceased estates owning UK assets.

In addition, Julia handles the administration of trusts and deputyships, preparation of wills and estate planning, lasting powers of attorney and applications to the Court of Protection for registration of enduring and lasting powers of attorney and deputyship applications.

Julia recently contributed to the IHT, Trusts & Estates module of Tolley Guidance and has for many years contributed to LexisNexis Administration of Estates. She has been a member of STEP, the world's leading organisation for private wealth professionals, London Central Branch since 1996.

Recent work highlights

Advising on the proving of a UK will revoked by the execution of a later US will and subsequently obtaining grant of probate in relation to UK will.
Administering complex deputyship cases; following the settlement of personal injury claims; and involvement in property moves where necessary on a day-to-day basis.
