Rebecca Carlyon, Partner at Penningtons Manches
Areas of expertise: Family law, Private wealth

Profile

Rebecca is a partner in the London family law team and private wealth sector group. With a particular focus on high-net-worth individuals, she advises a range of clients on all issues arising from divorce and relationship breakdown, including those which are financial and children related. Rebecca is highly experienced in drafting pre- and post-nuptial agreements, both domestic and international, and in resolving issues between unmarried couples.

She is a member of Resolution, the leading membership organisation for specialist family lawyers in England and Wales, and is also a trained collaborative lawyer.

Rebecca has been ranked as an up and coming lawyer in Chambers High Net Worth, which describes her as having ‘particular skill in preparing marital agreements’ and in which a previous client notes that she ‘is clever and was brilliant at collating the financial documentation needed for the case. She has great personal skills, with genuine empathy and warmth during a very difficult time, and was a huge support - always accurate, always one step ahead.’ Listed as a leading individual in her field for the fifth year in a row by The Legal 500, Rebecca is one of the few family lawyers to have been recognised by The Lawyer as a prestigious ‘Hot 100’ alumni. She is also listed in the Citywealth Leaders List.
