Michaela is a partner in the corporate team in London advising on a wide range of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, management buyouts, company re-organisations, fundraising, refinancing, acquisition finance, investment agreements, shareholders’ agreements, shareholder relations and corporate governance.

She acts for a variety of clients from entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs to high-net worth individuals, family owned and managed businesses, family offices and large multi-nationals. A significant part of her work has an international element and she regularly advises non-UK based clients, with a particular focus on Russia, the CIS countries and Asia.

Michaela joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2016 from another leading City firm. Previously in her career, she spent time advising on tax issues both for individuals and companies and obtained the STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients. She is credited by intermediaries and clients for her sensible and pragmatic approach.
