Penningtons Solicitors LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of David Raine as the firm’s chief executive. He takes over in October from Lesley Lintott, who has decided to step down after 11 years in the role.
David, who was elected unanimously by the partnership, is an existing member of Penningtons’ management board and head of the travel group. With over 20 years’ experience of the firm, some 17 as a partner, he is ideally placed to take on the mantle from Lesley who will continue to play an active role in the management of the firm as head of the Private Individuals Division and therefore a member of the management board. Lesley will also continue personally to look after her private client practice as part of the flourishing private client team in the firm.
Commenting on David’s appointment, she says: “I am delighted to be handing over to David, who will, I’m sure, prove to be an excellent leader. He is ideally suited for the position of chief executive, having taken a key role in the review of our strategy and the implementation of the decisions we have made about how to carry forward the firm.”
