Settlement for woman doubled after change of approach
Our personal injury specialists concluded a claim on behalf of a 32 year old woman who was knocked off her motorcycle. Although she lived in the South East, her insurance brokers initially appointed so called ‘motorcycle solicitors’ in Cardiff to pursue her claim.
These solicitors were unable to visit the claimant at home and so could not appreciate the full impact of her orthopaedic and neurological injuries. She changed representation when she was encouraged to accept an offer in settlement of £150,000.
Within 18 months, we settled the claim for more than twice that sum.
