Italian sightseeing incident leads to claim against local authority

We have recovered just over £19,000 for our client, plus an additional £2,500 for his travel insurer, following an accident in Italy. He was in Castro Villari when he fell whilst looking around a medieval square which was still under construction.

There was a difference in levels between two walkways, although these were both covered with the same tiles. Our client was unaware of the change in height and fell, causing him to suffer a fracture of the proximal tibia, the humeral head and the seventh rib.
