Katrina, a solicitor advocate with higher rights of audience in civil courts joined Penningtons as a partner in 2000. She has acted for a number of Professional Regulatory bodies over a period of 30 years, undertaking the investigation and preparation of fitness to practise cases, advocacy before committees/tribunals and advising on appeals and judicial reviews. She also sits as a Legal Assessor to Fitness to Practise Committees. She is a President of the Mental Health Review Tribunal, a Chairman of the Appeal Panel for the Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board and is the Director of Appeals for the General Dental Council. She has recently been appointed as Chairman of the Regulatory Board of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
