Stephen is a partner in the commercial property team with 15 years' experience in the commercial property field. He joined Penningtons in August 2009 and has been a partner since 2005. His specialist knowledge covers non-contentious landlord and tenant advice, property investment, retail, leisure, environmental, healthcare and all aspects of property acquisitions and disposals. Stephen has substantial international experience and has advised many US and European companies on their English real estate requirements. He has led on several large transactions in the £100 million plus bracket and also on a portfolio disposition for a leading international financial institution.
Stephen is recommended by the 2009 edition of The Legal 500, where he is noted for 'offering accurate, quality advice' and the 2010 edition of Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession, where he is noted as a key individual and admired for his ability to 'push deals through quickly'.
Stephen is based in our Godalming office but frequently works out of our London office and sees clients nationwide.
