Donald leads the firm’s commercial dispute resolution team. He joined Penningtons in 1983 and became a partner in 1998. His practice covers a broad range of international commercial contract disputes as well as disputes in the commercial property world. He advises clients in litigation before the English courts and in arbitrations under the rules of the ICC, LCIA, LME and other trade bodies. In common with other senior members of the group, he spends much of his time giving positioning and dispute avoidance advice. He is a member of the International Bar Association, the London Court of International Arbitration, the Property Litigation Association and the Panel of Arbitrators of the Minor Metals Trade Association.
