Philip heads the private client immigration team at Penningtons. He qualified as a solicitor in 1982 and joined the firm as a partner in 2004. He has more than 20 years' specialist experience of immigration and nationality law, advising clients on all aspects of immigration to the UK for employment, business, educational and settlement purposes.
Philip handles all types of visa applications for businesses and individuals and his background as a company/commercial lawyer enables him to provide solutions that complement the wider issues facing multinational businesses and foreign companies. He also has expertise in human rights cases and those involving EU law and regularly conducts appeals and has been a special adviser to the House of Lords on immigration legislation.
