Paul is a consultant in the private client team. He joined Penningtons as a partner in 1990 and retired from this role in 2010. Throughout his career Paul has acted for a wide variety of private individuals, trustees and charities and has specialised in trust law and taxation. His current practice concentrates on individual tax planning, non-contentious trust and probate work which regularly involves advice on international tax issues including the use of double taxation treaties, as well as non-resident trusts and investment vehicles. Recent experience has included work for individuals, trusts and their professional advisers in Australia, Bermuda, Canada and the USA, as well as in Europe. Paul is a member of the Taxation Sub-Committee of the City of Westminster and Holborn Law Society.
