Brian is an agricultural, commercial property and banking lawyer and has been with Penningtons since 2000. He advises on all aspects of the law affecting rural property including conveyancing, tenancies, diversification of farm buildings to form commercial property units and environmental issues. He acts for major lenders to the rural community such as The Agricultural Mortgage Corporation. Before qualifying as a solicitor in 1996 he worked as an agricultural scientist and as a consultant on agricultural development for the United Nations, World Bank, European Community and the United Kingdom Government. He is a member of the Agricultural Law Association.
