Abe is a partner in the dispute resolution team with over 20 years' experience. His particular interests are receivables financing, trade finance, secured lending, off balance sheet financing structures and security issues. He has also been involved in crisis management and corporate reconstruction. He is a member of the firm's professional practices group and has experience in dealing with distress situations, LLP administrations and insolvency partnership work.
Abe lectures widely both to clients and at international forums, runs a variety of training courses and is frequently consulted on novel issues that arise in his area of practice. He has contributed to a variety of industry and financial publications, such as an edited chapter for Aspatore Books' 'Inside the Minds: Corporate Law Client Strategies for the UK' series and for 'UK Insolvency Client Strategies', a guide on best practices for representing clients during insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings. He also writes for regional business magazines in the South East. Abe acts for a number of financial institutions, banks and private individuals, is a sponsor of the Asset Based Finance Association and sits on various committees.
