Penningtons Solicitors LLP is pleased to announce that it has become a corporate partner of London’s Southbank Centre.
Southbank Centre encompasses the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and The Hayward. It is the largest arts venue in Europe and has undergone a stunning £111 million, two-year refurbishment, which was completed last year.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Penningtons’ chief executive David Raine says: “We believe that our association with this creative organisation will offer a wide range of benefits for the firm as a whole and for our clients. Southbank Centre’s high profile and central location, with easy accessibility from our three offices, in the City, Basingstoke and Godalming, encouraged us to pursue this initiative.”
As part of Penningtons’ sponsorship of Southbank Centre, it will be able to take advantage of client entertainment opportunities structured around the diverse programme of music, dance, literature and visual art events. Many of these are staged in the Royal Festival Hall which has a 2,700 seater auditorium.
Penningtons is also making a proportion of the tickets which it receives through its sponsorship available to staff so that they can enjoy them in their leisure time. This includes tickets to the critically acclaimed Andy Warhol exhibition, Other Voices, Other Rooms, which is being held at The Hayward until 18 January 2009.
