Penningtons Solicitors LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has retained the Lexcel quality mark awarded by the Law Society. The firm is one of the first practices in the country to be assessed under an updated standard, known as Lexcel 4.
The mark is given to those firms which have successfully implemented the Law Society’s Practice Management Standards, which are designed to help improve client care, risk management procedures and efficiency within the office. As part of the accreditation process, Penningtons' offices in London, Basingstoke and Godalming were subject to rigorous assessments, carried out by independent auditors.
Lesley Lintott, chief executive of Penningtons, says: "We are delighted to have retained this award which is evidence of the extremely hard work put in by all our staff and in particular by Marcus Shepherd, our risk and compliance analyst, who managed the whole process on behalf of the firm. The lead auditor commented that we had adapted well to meet the additional criteria required under the new version of Lexcel. This is a further demonstration of our commitment to providing the highest quality of service to our clients."
