Penningtons relocates in the City

Penningtons Solicitors LLP's London office will be relocating to new premises close to St Paul's Cathedral on 10 September 2007. The move comes at an exciting time for the firm which, as part of a long term strategic review designed to develop its practice further, has recently re-organised itself on a divisional basis, with the three new divisions being Business Services, Commercial Property and Private Individuals.

Penningtons' London office will now be based at Abacus House, 33 Gutter Lane, London EC2. It has taken the fifth and sixth floors of the prestigious building.

Penningtons has also announced the appointment of Jon Heuvel as the separate office managing partner for the London office. Jon heads Penningtons' 13 strong employment team which last year won an Arts & Business Award for its innovative series of interactive employment plays.

London managing partner Jon Heuvel comments: "This move to newly refurbished, open plan accommodation is part of a programme to upgrade accommodation at all our offices over the last five years.
