Penningtons co-authors international media, advertising and entertainment law book

Penningtons is proud to have contributed to a new two-volume book entitled 'Media, Advertising & Entertainment Law Throughout the World'. This ThomsonWest publication is a practical and useful guide to media, advertising and entertainment laws in over 30 countries. Our authors contributed to the United Kingdom section, together with other media experts from member firms of leading international legal association Multilaw. Topics include privacy, defamation, regulations in media and advertising, and legal issues in the art world.

The book was launched in Berlin at the 2008 International Trade Mark Association (INTA) Annual Meeting. Anna Frankum, the head of Penningtons' intellectual property team and a contributing author to this publication, comments: "We were delighted to participate in this initiative, which is an example of the close co-operation between specialists in member firms of the Multilaw network. The book will be an invaluable resource for companies and lawyers who need to know about media, advertising and entertainment law issues abroad."
