Penningtons advises on merger of leading Winchester accountancy practice

Penningtons Solicitors LLP has advised Jordan Brookes, one of Winchester's leading accountancy firms, on its merger with South East based accountancy firm Wilkins Kennedy.

The merged firm will be branded as JB Wilkins Kennedy and will continue to operate from existing premises in Winchester and Romsey. The merger strengthens Wilkins Kennedy's position in the South East; the 38 partner firm is currently ranked 28th in the UK accountancy league tables and has 10 offices.

Penningtons advised on the corporate and partnership aspects of the merger. The firm has specialist expertise in advising accountancy practices pursuing merger strategies (including advising a top 20 national firm of accountants on numerous acquisitions).
