Jumeirah Group appoints Penningtons to specialist panel

Penningtons Solicitors LLP has been appointed to a specialist panel to provide general commercial, IT/IP and dispute resolution advice to the Jumeirah Group, a luxury international hotel and hospitality management company which has its HQ in Dubai.

Jumeirah's expanding portfolio includes the renowned Burj Al Arab in Dubai, which is regarded by many as the world's most luxurious hotel.

Penningtons' appointment comes after a demanding tender process earlier this year during which 25 law firms were invited to submit proposals. Penningtons is the only medium-sized law firm to have been successful. It has now finalised the service protocol for its appointment with the Jumeirah Group.

Commenting on the firm's success, Rustam Dubash, who is Penningtons' client relationship partner for the Jumeirah Group, said: "We are delighted to secure this high profile client which adds greater depth to our hotel and leisure practice."
